The ecotourism is a responsible form of voyage in natural spaces, which contributes to the environmental protection and the wellbeing of the local populations. (TIES, 2006)
The Ecotouristic engagement of the hotel Ogooué Palace consists in a particular and constant preoccupation with a durability of the activity.
An ethical charter is established in order to respect the habits and conventions of each village which is given you to discover. Thus, the generated benefit are partly redistributed in the form of first need products (oil, soap, sugar, condensed milk...) to the persons in charge for the villages concerned.
The mutual respect is our essential value.
The Hotel also supports associations WSC, WWF, TIES and ECOFAC and is referred by tourist associations ATALANTE and GABONTOUR which adhere to the principles of ecotourism for a durable development and responsible tourism.
